Pomerol Red Bordeaux Blend

Extraordinarily long progression

29 years old and still going strong. Complex to say the least. Fruit fades fast, however present out of the gate. Dominant earthiness with a moderate finish.

Beautiful red fruit and earthful funk.

Great opportunity to taste today. Needed some decanting, light dried cranberry, light spices and a bit nutty. Great nose and length. Wow.

Much riper with less influence from pyrazines than most of the 89s I've tasted from Bordeaux.

89 magnum best!
