Tasting the new 2015 today, while very brooding and quiet at first pour, you can see the huge potential. I am a big fan of Dominus with age and given the makings of this 2015, I can see this joining the ranks of some of the greatest vintages of Dominus...in time, lots and lots of time.

Another half bottle that delivered. Dominus is so consistent. Tight on the open. But after about 40 minutes this opened beautifully. Still so young but it is ready for the impatient. Bright fruit. Currants cherry in harmony with lots of earth. A rich wine.

Dec 17th, 2023Another try at this one after a few years and mostly the same result for me. Solid if not spectacular. It needed an hour to open and significantly improved but it was a less impressive mix of earthiness and mature fruit than I have been expecting based on reviews.
