Their winemaking origins date back nine generations, to Phillip Herzog, who made wine in Slovakia for the Austro-Hungarian court more than a century ago. Aromas of stone fruits and perfume scents. Flavors of tart apple and pear with lemon tones and oak characteristics. Medium length, a bit acidic ending with nothing but oak. Ok, but pricy.
