On the palate; lots of lifting heated spices immediately at it sets. Blackberries, black raspberries, black plum, plum, black raspberry cola, mint & eucalyptus, sage, anise, underbrush, soft leather, wood shavings, soy, fair amount of baking spices, good round acidity and a thick, round, elegant long finish.
