Very aromatic. Fruit forward on the palate with notes of red cherry and plum. Surprising structure. Zinfandel sourced from various Russian River Valley vineyards including Banfield, Saitone, Carlisle, Montafi, and Papera from vines planted between 1881 to 1934 with interplanted mixed blacks.

From four RRV vineyards averaging over 100 yrs old. Everything Carlisle makes is awesome but to me this one is the QPR winner of the whole lineup.

A step up from the Sonoma designate and a #qpr winner. Something about Zin and Russian River just make magic. Wondering if any Carlisle Vineyard juice went into this bottling, I get a lot of similarities here and that is extremely high praise.

Bright red fruit, floral aromas with underlying cinnamon/ cedar. 2nd day darker - plum / licorice. Well done.

Roger said it best - mouthwatering acidity. Put this in the fridge for 20 minutes and am being rewarded. This will go great with the homemade lasagna tonight. Yeah, we're at the lake but who doesn't love a pan of lasagna?
