Exceptional Nerello from Foti. Eye opening, quite haunting aromatics and delightfully silken texture. Rocky. Will be seeking more of this out in 2018.

Supposed to be the among the top of wines from Sicily. Wine tastes very spicy and lots of mineral due to Mount Etna which is a volcano. A little rough around the edges despite running through aerator. Could use more time- drank it too early. Went OK w fatty steak. Not worth $50. **UPDATED** tastes much improved on the second day. Would highly recommend decanting.
