Gevrey-Chambertin Pinot Noir

Seems I'm drinking a lot of Duroche lately. Why not? It's pretty, earthy and reasonably priced.

Translucent ruby color. Light body. Acid structure. Crunchy cranberry fruit and floral sweet mint aromas.

Had to break the Clos des Grillons run for some pinot to cap off the week. I can’t get enough of this village level wine that matches more expensive counterparts with easy. Fruit forward and easy to enjoy young. Tons bright red fruit on nose and palate.

Simple, straight-forward village. Primarily fresh fruit flavours with high acidity giving a nice finish.
