My latest obsession is white Burgundy. The elegance in these wines is stunning. Here we have a young chardonnay that I decanted for 3 hrs and served as it came up almost to room temp. The roundness of fruit and tart and spice is magical. Once again, the old world beats the new work IMO.

Faint nose of lemon peel. Palate of citrus, vanilla. Good mineral and acid. Seems a bit over oaked to me. Abrupt finish. **-***
