Definitely shows the vintage. Unripe and lean this plays more on the phenolic and tart side of Smaragd rather than power and layers. Not unpleasant by any means but needs food and air to uncoil

Starting out our Scandinavian Xmas with a little Riesling. This is fairly dry with a low sugar content and a 10.5ABV. It shows pear and peach on the nose and has nice acidity and minerality on the palate. It's a crowd pleaser and one to rely on. Merry merry everyone.
