2019 vintage. A nice surprise compared to the caricatural 2020. Very attractive nose with ripe red fruit and flowers. Already very accessible with good concentration, balancing acidity and a very nice mineral finish with good length.

Drank 10/11/18. Tasting pour.

Nose of plumb, soil, tobacco, and black fruits. Flavors of black fruits, cocoa powder, and soil. Very well balanced. Long finish.

This one has the stuffing to be good in the long run, but it needs more time. Soft nose of sweet kirsch, red flowers. Palate has some intense berry fruit and a slight muskiness but it’s very tightly wound and not really coming out to play. Revisit in 5-8.

4/23 Rich wine with nice complexity but there was a acidic finish. Not 100 % balanced. Still an 86 and a crowd pleaser 86

Cherry and red fruit on the nose. Definite earthen quality that predominates. Took a while to open up, but was beautiful once it did. Another one that could age for a few more years.

Way too inky, tannic, and tightly wound. Did not soften. 2015 La Pointe should be better

Oak now but but big volume to this one. Speculating on quality and rating with another 10 years cellared. Good Pomeral but not as outstanding as as others here.
