Saint-Émilion Red Bordeaux Blend

The nose is brightly floral fruits of; blackberries, black cherries, black raspberries, haunting blue fruits, raspberries and strawberries. Limestone, crushed dry rocks, leather, light, fresh tobacco with ash, dark rich earth, stones, anise, herbaceous, steeped fruit teas with amazing, candied, bright red, dark, blue florals with violets.

The body is medium full and lush. Beautiful; structure, tension, length and balance. Sound round, meaty and chewy, tarry, sweet tannins. Floral fruits of; blackberries, black cherries, black raspberries, haunting blue fruits, raspberries and strawberries. Limestone, caramel, cinnamon stick, clove, nutmeg, vanilla, crushed dry rocks, leather, light, fresh tobacco with ash, dark rich earth, stones, anise, dark spices with incredible palate heat, herbaceous, steeped fruit teas with amazing, candied, bright red, dark, blue florals with violets. The acidy is fresh & lively. The well balanced and polished finish is really delicious and persists minutes. This is another wine that jumps 2-4 points with 15-20 years in bottle.

Very dark and sweet. Strong oak and intense Spicy fruit. Black pepper and deep finish. This is way too young but pretty serious.

I can see why this was a 4X hundred pointer. Such power combines with tremendous elegance and purity. Check back in 20 years

A winemakers wine. Purity, vineyard expression a subtle hand and guidance make for an extraordinary experience.

The 2015 Canon has a tightly wound bouquet with mineral rich black fruit, raspberry coulis, rose
petal and desiccated orange peel. It takes time to come together, but it does. The palate is well defined, very focused with fine minerality. This is discreet but beautifully balanced, clean and precise with a sense of energy and precision on the finish. It is less showy than its peers at the moment, which

I’m sure there’s something missing or off with this wine, but there’s not a speck of an idea what it could be. The brilliance lingers for the duration of a nice meal.
