Aromas of sherbet, honeysuckle and ripe apple. A low sulphur regime apparently. The palate is silky and viscous with low acid. This grape Melon de Bourgogne is well named as it does give melon like flavours. Old vines and time on lees seems to be the key to this delicious Loire White. Also excellent QPR at only $24.

Pale Gold. Not overly familiar with the Muscadets from the western Loire Valley but I was expecting something more lush and grapey with a little residual sweetness but this finishes dry. Some notes of peach but to sum up just an acceptable quaffer.
