A little sweet for us, but a good inexpensive wine for company

Yellow in color with a golden hue.

Nice nose of tropical fruits, citrus, lemon zest, mangoes, oak and grapefruits.

Dry on the palate with oak, lemons, limes, grapefruits, green apples, spices and peppercorn.

Nice finish with spices and butter.

An Oaky Chardonnay from Monterey County. Nicely balanced and drinking well now, but nothing special. Can be had by itself, just sipping by the porch, or with chicken dishes or salads.
$10 at ABC, not bad at all.

13.5% alcohol by volume.
