Had a 2009 vintage in January, 2017. Very floral and feminine in nature. Fruits were tending toward the bitter bright red spectrum: cranberry, rhubarb, raspberry, pie cherry.
I was a little disappointed overall by how this had aged. Admittedly, 2009 wasn't the most ageable vintage. It was a very hot year and I think that took its toll on this wine. There was a touch of nail polish and metallic graphite. The fruit and body also fell apart very quickly in the glass, to where the last sip was almost undrinkable.
Past it's prime.
