A little past it’s best but still interesting. Light orange in flavor. Not much fizz. Peach, marmalade, a whiff of ginger cake. There’s a little sizzle of acidity on the end palate. Certainly this bottle is on its final stretch but as always with old champagne, it’s fascinating.

Light gold with good fizz. Bright lemon and slate, some honeyed edges and lime. A very fresh and exciting bottle with vivacity and length.

Gold color. Not completely clear. Nose of apples and limestone. In the mouth the guess is old 70s era champagne given the presence of some very quiet and unseen carbonation. Good acidity that built with a few hours of air.
