Les Noisetiers Sonoma Coast Chardonnay

Enjoyed our last full day at the resort, and we topped it off with another visit to Seven Glaciers. The food, the wine, the views...stellar!

Had most Kistler's fortunately, but not this own. A nice bottle, but nothing spectacular or wowing. Side-of-the-popcorn bag smell as well as lemon. Very rich texture. Went nicely with the king crab legs!

An amazing pairing with lobster cannelloni. Pears and hazelnut on the nose - a great wine to start off the night.

Really lovely, restrained Chardonnay. Pineapple and green apple on the nose. Really delicate use of oak.

On a small roll with Sonoma chard, and this one is the best yet.
Nose and flavor are similar to the Sonoma Mountain bottling. Seems a bit more nutty and less oaky (probably more integrated). I picked up a bit yeasty note as well. With additional 2 years in the bottle, it was so seamless and elegant. Just great!

Nice and cloudy....Much better than the last Kistler with Jan and Wayne...hopefully a different year as it’s the same wine!

Unfiltered wine. Smooth & buttery. Dinner at Dina's to kick off the beginning of spring break

Drank at Buchon in Napa. Fucking superb. Buttery and complex with plenty of fruit and a very long finish.

Wow, big surprise. Evolution in the glass as it opened up. Nice balance and good complexity. This is happy with food or on its own.
