Sometimes you rearrange the wine closet to find a wine you forgot about.
That aged wine nose of hazelnuts and brick dust..
Hazelnuts, pomegranate (whole - pith, seed), star anise, sorrel. Unique, and still has a great oak/acid integration, with a bit more with the popsicle stick tannins.

Lush cherries and strawberries on the nose. A rich blend of subtle fruit and leather on the palate. Really nice, but not extraordinary. Will definitely buy again.
