Forgot about this guy in storage. So happy it was CLEAN and fresh as a daisy. Brambly berry fruit, peppercorn, violets, bay and other classic herbs, some olive and licorice wrapped up in a neat and vibrant package. Something slightly meaty and savory hiding out, but this is quite light on its feet and quaffable with its crisp fruit and chalky tannin.

Love the acid and style of this wine. Didn't quite stand up against the richer wines in this flight, but again it's is own animal. Lots of carbonic character. Day two it lost that primary effervescence and showed much more weight on the palate. Definitely the outlier in the group. Would like to see this with at least 5 years of age.

If tasted blind I would have thought Gamay. Great freshness and cut.

Very robust nose, palate is way more delicate. Carbonic character comes through a little too much for my taste.

Out of mag, and given a quick decant. Purple fruit, herbs and rock. It was a bit tight, but it was young. Not as smooth as the jamet cdr drunk along side it, or as refined as the Vincent paris 60, but still delicious.

This smells like it's going to be a pretty big old world syrah, but it then pivots and is light and feminine on the palate. Red fruit mingles with subtle bacon fat, nutty aged meat, lots of florals, hints of stoney minerality. Such a great wine, and it's only the second year of this bottling.

In an odd spot since the last bottle 4years ago. Seems like it will still age though
