Great value. Southern Rhone style from California with Carignan leading the way. Great balance with slightly jammy red/black fruit, pepper spice, and briar. Approachable tannin. Better after several hours open.

This is definitely my kind of wine. Blue, black and red berries, sweet herbs (thyme), cracked pepper, and old-vinesy depth, structure, concentration. Shamelessly aromatic and delicious while remaining buttoned up and elegant. Great value, too.
