The flavors here are really good but the wine was a little thin and lacked a silky mouthfeel which I prefer. This was my first Carter and having heard so much about these wines I was a little let down. I also was overly excited to try this given Maybach sources from the same vineyard (which set my expectations even higher).

Very nice, but maybe not quite the depth I was expecting. But that’s more a problem with my expectations than with the wine.
