Opened and let it sit in the glass for ~30 mins prior to drinking. Chinese tea, smoke, cherries, brick on the nose. Mild tannins. Perfect condition. One of the best bottles of Italian wines we’ve ever had.

1985 Santo Stefano di Nieve Barbaresco. Drank w K at dinner at Ago. Really, really good. Still some interesting rich fruit to it, complex, with layers of different flavors. Great wine.
