From magnum, completely mature and drinking well, elegant and silky tannins, aromas and flavors are all tertiary.

1975 vintage. From magnum. Decent fill and cork. Decanted and tasted after two hours. Medium body. Nose remained angular and sharp throughout but flavors vacillated between finesse and brutish. Not the star of the night, yet impressive nonetheless. Out of magnum, looks to have 5-10 more years left of quality in store. 3.5.24.

Well preserved for its age. A compliment to our dinner. Solid body and finish.

The Cos was decanted two hours earlier and that helped lift the aromatics. Slight brown on the edge but plenty of classic Bordeaux fruit. Good cork . Shows very well and was a nice addition to dinner. Still has life and vitality.👍👍

Very well preserved Cru Class Bordeaux. A touch of brown on the edge but solid claret nose and flavors. Still exhibiting unresolved tannins which allow this wine to taste younger than 44 years. Delightful 🍷 drinking.
