Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

This beautiful wine is already quite evolved. Inky in color, this Cabernet Sauvignon by Cakebread begins with aromas of anise, mocha and red bell pepper with wild blackberry. The palate shows good balance and weight with black tea, anise, mocha and sandalwood flavors. This shows good intensity and elegance. Drink 2018-2028- 91

2013 is still young, but going to be awesome after a couple years on the shelf

v13. Nice smokey bouquet. Rich, jammy, blackberry and soft tar fruit. Nice chewy tanins.

A gift from my wife's boss for all her hard work. Enjoyed with friends up in Cambria. Very smooth and not too fruity.

Very nice. Smooth

Dark violet purple color. Nice ripe dark fruits, cedar box and tabacco leaves on the nose. Hint of vanilla and graphite as well. Med-full bodied, slight sweet finish with nice dark chocolate and dark roast coffee. Not interesting enough but a nice pair with my ribeye. 14.7% alc. 2013 vintage
