Faconnières. Dark ruby nose. Black and red fruits on nose. Blackberry, red plum, underbrush, grilled meat. Great concentrated wild cherry, blackberry, herbs, mineral, salt on long palate. Ripeness framed by bright savory acid and ripe tannins. Plenty of stuffing for long haul, and great poise to insure elegant maturity. This is damn good. Re-buy.

Surprisingly I did not like this nearly as much as the 2010, which was extremely finessed. This one not so much - the fruit is nice and pure, relatively light in weight though blue in complexion, but it has a bit too much drying skin tannin to make it a fun drink at the moment.
