Ripeness framed by bright savory acid and ripe tannins. Plenty of stuffing for long haul, and great poise to insure elegant maturity. This is damn good. Re-buy.

Surprisingly I did not like this nearly as much as the 2010, which was extremely finessed. This one not so much - the fruit is nice and pure, relatively light in weight though blue in complexion, but it has a bit too much drying skin tannin to make it a fun drink at the moment.
