Nice aroma and full body, full flavor Cab. Best of three lower end offerings for the evening.

This is why I'm not a big Paso Cab fan. Brambly and a bit one dimensional, but very fruit forward. Firm tannins.

Heady cedar and spice nose. Decent structure with a hot fruit finish. Great for the price point. 2013

Fruity and round on first sip. Gets a little flatter, don't let it cool down. 2013 vintage.

1st day: Smoky, tar, coffee, tart blackberry. The makings of an interesting cab. But not bold enough. Full bodied, smooth tannins start... finishes thin/weak. I've had better in this price point. But let it breathe for an hour, it gets much better. Tannins firm up and gets a bit spicy. Pair with a steak. 2nd day: has every characteristic of the 1st day. And the flavors intensify, now excellent for the price point. Still a simple cab, but depth of flavor is incredibly enjoyable.
