Het duurt ruim 23 jaar, maar het is het wachten dubbel en dwars waard. Eindelijk zijn de tannines zacht en geïntegreerd. Samen met cassis en pruimen is het dan een heerlijke, flinke wijn.

Nov 30th, 2020(16.5/20) В аромате преобладают тона, вызванные редукцией - скотный двор, жжённая резины. После аэрации проявляются ароматы чёрных ягод и шоколада, однако редукция так и не уходит до конца. Довольно высокая кислотность и интенсивные, грубоватые танины. Не лучший винтаж для Монтус.

Elegant and powerfull. Great wine, still lots of tannine, needs a few more years to reach it's peak but already delicious.

Currant and licorice, nice fruit but ferocious tannin. It needs time or cassoulet.
