Likely as good as eleven gets. This is lovely.

Nov 7th, 2015Very backwards and tannic but evolved to typical Neb aromatics. Baking spice and chocolate on finish. Firm tannins throughout the mouth and inside of gums. Hot on the finish, but I wouldn't have guessed that this would clock in at 14.5. This wine drank surprisingly young based on my experience with this vintage. Not sure it will ever be great, but should be quite enjoyable in another 5 yrs.
Coming more into the realm of anise here. Black licorice on the palate. Tannins all over the gums. A very elegant wine but lacking mid-palate depth.
