2010. Very seldom do I reach for Grenache in the fridge, but this is always a winner. Smooth, light with lovely strawberry fruit and warm spice. Yum!

What a wonderful wine. Jumped at this when I saw it on the list at Keens for less than retail (if you can find it). The nose is just so deep - like a ripe forest full of wonderful fruits and earth. Had the tannins and acid to stand up to the steak, would not have guessed it was 14 years old other than the somewhat slightly deep raisin fruit note.
Lots of earth and moss on the finish. Just delicious. What a treat. Have looked to buy Pialade many times and just can’t find it - fun one to have.

Crazy transparency and delicious complexity. Waves of flavors of stewed strawberries, cherries, cranberries, tomato paste, fresh green olive, potpourri, and blood, but also a dried lemon peel and violets headiness. Not lacking acid in the least, this is great now but also has a future.
