Who says Zin can't age. I do. This 12 year old 16.7 % bruiser is uninteresting and unbalanced. Still a surprising amount of fruit with black licorice, tarragon and a rough aftertaste.

With 16%+ alcohol and at 14 years of age, this zin was full of acid, fruit and life. Seriously impressed.

2002 Old Vines. Tuesday nite dinner at home with the best "Gal" in the world. Liz made a nice pasta with sausage, onions & peppers. Wine is well aged; fruit still present. Some raisin flavors with firm tannins. Fruit us more than just raisin; plum, dark berries etc. Do not wait to consume.
