The dark garnet '01 Turley Zinfandel 'Old Vines' is still alive and kicking. Although at the end of its prime, the old-vine sweet richness of dark fruit compote is still evident. Even with an elevated alcohol level it is more spicy than hot. Somewhat lacking in complexity and nuance, the finish faded quickly. Luckily my last bottle.
