Château Ormes de Pez
Saint-Estèphe Red Bordeaux Blend
St. Estèphe, Médoc, Bordeaux, France
I could smell this one all day and be happy. Lighter-bodied and refreshing with flavors of leather , violets, and savory capers. Nice tannic presence at the end.

Not sure how long it was open. Kind of thin with a slight menthol kicker.

Jul 8th, 2017Not loving it- better on day 2 but not by much. Very light bodied, nothing standing out on nose or tasting notes. Perhaps over cellared. Would not go out of my way to have this again-

Very chocolately on the nose. Really dark color, still good but certainly past it's prime. Tastes earthy, porty, almost like a fortified wine. Very interesting
