One of the best Aubert pinots I’ve had. Everything working in seamless harmony. Gorgeous candied cranberries, fresh black cherries, herbal twang and freshly chopped cedar. Wonderful acidity with red plum, earth, kiss of maple, and baking spices. Very nice. Thanks @Dan Fitzgerald .

Aubert Ritchie Pinot Noir 2010 Huge fruit. Worked well with balsamic/molasses glazed pork loin.

This one was a little unusual. The color was far more toward garnet than I was anticipating for a 2010 from Aubert. The nose also seemed to suggest this wine is on a bit more of an accelerated trajectory than other 2010s I've had recently. The wine changed substantially in the glass over 30-45 min and acquired a lot of depth, with rich secondary flavors and a nice, lingering finish. The wine had been stored at 56 F in the cellar since release, so I think this is still one you want to drink sooner rather than later. Overall excellent, but not my favorite of Mark's 2010s.
