Modern Ribera del Duero created by Isaac Fernandez , Javier and the Neo team. Velvety tannins and compact -robust feeling in the mouth. A full bodied red that has incredible potential for ageing. Bravo Aranda de Duero!

5 years not old enough, fruit forward and big-ish, but not overly tannicky

Medium body, core leans toward opaque. Sits in the middle of purple and garnet, very clear rim. Pleasantly tannic, gentle touch of oak, and a short time in the glass takes the fruit down a notch and the pleasure up by many. This bottle will be fun to visit repeatedly over a good decade I would think. Just a challenge to make six of them last that long. Worked well with a vegan Caesar salad, olive oil braised veg, and aged parm, in that order, over a 45minute timespan.
