Setting aside the fact that this another very confusing stretch of an iconic brand... A great wine. In line w private reserve and some of the old sbragias. Hints of white rhone (recall in The movie Somm when the guy mistakes BPR Chardonnay for a white rhone). Very very lactic, ripe CA Chardonnay wouldn't confuse this w a burgundy.

Not bad at all. Not too buttery or oaky. Not particularly refined but enjoyable on a warm day.

Not as Big as Beringer Reserve Chard 2012, but after opening it's a Mouthful! Loaded with tropical fruits, great balance, and wonderfully mouth feel. This 2012 is a Great addition to the Portfolio!! At home on my 59th YUP BDay. Reading Clancy's/Mark Greaney's New Book!!! Kudo's to both both Wine and Book. Charlie

Maybe on the lighter-handed side of the big Napa style but still too much oak for me. Decent acidity and minerality but fruit is buried in sweet oak. 14.3%?!

I like it, not as much as the private reserve though. Nice bright fruit. I like the oak on the PR...
