d'Angerville made a great wine during this "lesser" vintage. Pronounced nose with dark berry and intense earthy notes with lifted floral notes. Solid tannic structure, but could use more flesh in mid palate. Cellaring will reward w/ this vintage , but not as long as 2005 or 2010

Interestingly enough, tangerines were presented on the first taste. As the wine opened up however, more soil, shale, and berries were evident. This wine was a nice accompaniment to both meat and fish.
