Caribbean Cask Extra Matured in Rum Cask Aged 14 Years Single Malt Scotch Whisky

This isn't nearly as good as it used to be. Not sure what's happened here. Shame.

If you don't like Scotch, try this. It's smooth, rich and Fucking Killer.

Loads of fun and an absolute pleasure start to finish -the never ending finish. That said: I think I might be a more of a traditionalist than I thought as I like classic cask regiments where the kiln and grain speak for the house with less flourish and fragrance. Granted I could take this to sea and never wish for another whisky.

The rum cask aging is a nice spin to a classic. Delish.

86 proof. Wow. Too smooth. Careful folks.

Deep tawny color. Aromas of pipe tobacco, malt, vanilla scone, apricots, varnish, leather, and coconut milk. Additional flavors of rice pudding, caramel, nutmeg, and sweet rum cake. Medium + tannins, medium finish and body. A subtle, complex, and slightly different offering from the Balvenie!

This is unreal - get it and enjoy with friends. The rum cask is a perfect pairing.

Golden color. Vanilla and spice on the nose with a slight smokiness. Intense sweetness with vanilla and honey. Spicy lingering finish. Not as exciting as I wanted it to be.
