I wanted to like this wine more but my impatience didn't do me any favors. May be the bottle but the bouquet is beautiful but the finish is chalky.

2008 vintage. Robert Parker 100 point wine to celebrate Drink Wine Day, otherwise known as Thursday. Parker said it would age 30 years but I don't have that kind of time. Extraordinary Merlot blend. Bonus points to me for spelling extraordinary.
