Saint-Julien Red Bordeaux Blend

1985. In a fantastic place right now. Perfectly aged Bordeaux - saddle leather, earthy, savory, blackberries.

Honestly the best Gloria I have had. Chocolate and coffee. A bit of bricking. Delicious

Beautiful, just beautiful. Had a magnum.

DQ had this several times and this seemed slightly off compared with prior btls. Muted fruit with a dull light finish.

Notes mirror the btl I had last year with a nose of black and red fruits, Dr Pepper, cedar, leather, earth and tobacco. Plum fruits and spice on the mouth, showing medium weight and length with supple tannins.

Nice wine showing classic tobacco, earth, cedar, leather and black fruits. Drinking like a mini Lynch and La Mish. Need to look for more at auction
