Coffee, med plus tannins, iron, decaying leaves

Fraises écrasées, baies sauvages, myrtilles, sous bois, tabac, notes, mentholées. La bouche est fraîche, fruits noirs, tanins très fondus. Fraîcheur en finale avec belle tension sur des fruits noirs et une seconde jeunesse qui se dévoile avec des tanins en finale

Enjoyed this 98 alongside the 2008 Conterno. This was inky and dark with primary fruit and oak abundant. Very ripe indeed and not showing it’s age very much. Very pretty. @Eric Weiner

1998 Clinet. Still powerful and the signs of oak are very present. High alcohol content also coming through. Inky and dark but the fruit on the palate still primary.
