Almost knocked off the whole damn thing by myself while cooking. Very Nebbiolo-like but riper and hotter (almost stewed), barnyard funk, herbs, and flowers. Rusty terra cotta color, dusty mineral finish.

Nov 17th, 2016Interesting Greek wine. Flavor profile strongly resembles old Rioja. Much cloudier than classic Riojas, though. Threw a lot of sediment, still had more than two glasses left when it was giving off a lot of sediment after standing for more than 24 hours. Recommend you decant. Lively for an almost 18 year old wine. Still a little fruit, but mostly secondary and tertiary flavors.
