The Beaujolais you need to know! Charly Thevenet 2010 Regnie. Grain & Granit. Ridiculousness in a glass! Tart red fruits, earthy minerality. Changes as it opens. Great with grilled foods.

Brambles on the nose and palate licorice as well superb expression of great winemaking

A bit funky; perhaps a bit off. Opened up a bit. Good not great. Will try another bottle for comparison.

Brettanomyces run amok (and I generally like Brett. when there is still life left in the wine).

80+ year vines on a very small parcel from the son of J-P Thevenet. This was kind of our encore wine at Untitled, so I don't have as many specific notes as I would like, but I would certainly pick this wine out again on a list or in a store. Nice to try a 2010 also!

Dark cherry and tart berries with a hint of animale. Fine plush tannin. More please.
