The modern style of Barolo will tend to converge back to the mean with time in bottle, this proves it as the oak has been she'd and the Nebbiolo character is primary. Very enjoyable bottle of Neb!

Deep color. Beautiful subdued truffle and earth nose . Oak has melted in nicely with a well balanced palate of classic Nebbiolo flavors. Shows no sign of age and might well improve further . I purchased on release in Alba and was cellared at 52"

Aromas of tar, cherries, licorice and plums. Great concentration and texture but can do with a little more acid and a little less oak
