A guilty pleasure. Deep, dark fruit, licorice, and florals with softening tannins and good acidity. Fantastic with our NY Strips.

This wine was nice to drink immediately although an hour after opening it seemed@to soften significantly Nicely integrated oak added some vanilla to the rich chocolate notes that were present. I think that this would have shown better with a steak...
