Medium reddish purple in color. Raspberries, black cherry, rose petals, and judicious oak, 32% new French oak for 16 months, are evident on the nose. On the palate, it’s mid-weight with good acidity, fine grained tannins, and 14.4% ABV. The Rosella’s vineyard, named after Gary Franscioni's wife, is a bit more restrained than the other two SLH vineyard bottlings, Gary’s and Pisoni’s vineyards.

Ripe red fruit, plush texture, maybe a touch of heat on the finish.

Wild, red berry profile I typically do not associate with a Garys’ Pinot...pleasing

Beautiful right now. No rough edges, some spice notes and black cherry pie. Not the most profound but very satisfying.

At a lovely place...tannins well integrated, with dark fruit profile...way too easy to drink
