I’m always excited about the release of the new Bouquet de Garrigues Blanc. The 2017 shows particularly wonderful tension between freshness and flesh, minerality and tropical fruit. Great viscosity but still light on its feet. For me this is one of the classics. CDP at about 1/3 the price.

Oct 7th, 2018More viscosity and weight than the 2015, but displaying a lot of the same aromatic complexities. Citrus, mango and spices with a quirky note of saline sea spray. Great depth and density on the palate despite being just a tad heavy. Once some of that girth has shed it’s going to be a beautiful wine, as always.

Great layers of fruit and spice coupled with textural richness. Lovely acid balance. Orange peel, poached pear, yellow plum, vanilla, green pineapple, white flowers, radish, white pepper. Maybe in my head but there's an underlying garrigue note. 40 GB 35 CL 25 VI.

Golden apple, poached pears, gardenias, saline, vanilla bean, almonds. Rounded acid, rich creamy texture, full bodied, floral-melon-savory finish. Highly aromatic, mineral driven, food friendly texture, polished throughout. Aromatically similar to Chenin Blanc with Northern Rhône texture.
