Dark ruby purple. Abundant nose of cassis, light tarry vanilla, and fines herbs. Medium full palate echoes the nose. Medium acidity. Medium plus tannins. Like a soft velvet wave over the tongue. Just enough structure for hearty winter fare, but not so much that it would overwhelm in warmer weather. Drink now through 2025.

Interesting wine that was very hard to find out who it was made by. Total wine had it as a new arrival called KG3 and that's all the information they gave. Wine was a deep opaque purple. Nose started with chalk, and very tight. As it opened the was some dark berries and wood. Palate was very light with cassis. Low plus to moderate tannins 5.5/10. Moderate body that both need to integrate with more time. Moderate finish that lingers for a few seconds. Not sure how much oak but doesn't seem like that much due to lower than expected tannins. Would be interesting to try with some time invested in it.
