Full-bodied with a deep purple color and strong green pepper notes (slightly too strong). A straightforward Cabernet that gives a full-mouth feel, which for the price point is exactly what you would want. This guy is ~$25-27 at my local NYC wine shops.

A superb bottle from Alexander Valley! A favorite region of mine. Luscious fruit, smooth wood and earth notes. Perfect!

Very nice. Smooth and dry. Slightly better than the Sterling Cab we also had during Thurs night football. Can't wait to test this against the regular Rodney Cab!

I like it but not what I have come to love from RS. Good fruit but needs a little more acidity. Still love RS though!

What can I say? Rodney Strong is always acceptable in a pinch. Looking forward to tasting the 2012 reserve but this 2013 cab is AOK for the price.
