Full bodied and soft with medium acidity.
Dry to off dry on the palate with blackberries, sweet plums, cooked cherries, oak, vanilla, licorice, cloves, spices and black pepper.
Medium finish with soft tannins and black pepper.
This simple red blend from California is drinking very nicely now. Well balanced and enjoyable by itself. Easy drinking (might be too easy) and simple with a soft mouth feel.
Good right out of the bottle and good for parties. A good everyday red at a good price point.

Apr 14th, 2019Picked this up on sale to try. Very, very sweet and fruity, with an initial pungent maple scent. Too sweet for me, even after going through an aerator. But if you are looking for a casual drinkable red blend, this would be a good choice.

For the price, this is a great and easy red blend to enjoy. None of the flavors are overpowering and it has a nice smooth finish.
