I've had this on its own and it's a bit sweet, but when paired with actually Georgian food?? Boy

Good middle of the line Gerogian wine.

Made in a modern style that obliterates all sense of place and varietal. Not bad. Just not interesting. You could have told me this was grocery store Shiraz, and I would have believed you.

First wine in Georgia for us. Just a solid table wine. Very drinkable, and not too sweet.

Reliability Valley Saperavi 2017

Fruity, but not too sweet.

Taste of jalapeños, smell of strawberries. Smooth and tannic but not overly. Medium acidity. Aftertaste and smell of chocolate

A really nice wine. Reductive. Light bodied, herbal, sour cherries, mint. Good acidity, with a candied finish. Pairs well with Eastern European food.

Peppercorn, blueberry, and eucalyptus, with green vegetal notes. Soft, velvety mouthfeel like a Merlot.
