Aroma is rich, dark berries, leather and spice. Flavour is full bodied, light fruit notes, earthy and hints of spice.

After airing it for a while, the taste became more mature and rich bodied. Its spicy taste has always been one of my favorites. Overall, a great bottle of red.

Being the 2011 harvest we WERE expecting fireworks and think it's fuller bodied and better with food than the 2013. Regardless, this wine is appropriate for celebrating with.
